In 1963, a group of local physicians and businessmen recognized a growing need for convalescent facilities in our community. Their answer to that need was Virginia Health Services, Inc. 

Since our inception, we have grown from operating one 50 bed facility to now having six facilities, serving up to 665 residents from the Peninsula, Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. Our affiliate companies, The Arbors, Virginia Health Rehabilitation, and Virginia Health Enterprises complete our continuum of care offering the finest in Independent and Retirement Living; professional physical, speech and occupational therapy services; and medical equipment sales and rentals.
