Health Services is the locally owned operator of six highly rated convalescent
centers. With more than 35 years of servicing our community, VHS has earned
a reputation for delivering quality in long term care nursing services to
our friends and neighbors from the Peninsula to the Northern Neck. We employ
nearly 700 caregivers and support staff.

Applicants for Employment
Applications for employment will be accepted
from individuals who have had experience and/or training in the position for
which they apply.
Upon completion of the application for employment, an interview will be scheduled with the appropriate Department Head if the applicant is being considered for employment. A satisfactory interview, references and criminal record check are required for employment.
Nursing Facility regulations require that applicants accepted for employment must be free of contagious disease and able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Prior to employment the applicant must present evidence of a Tuberculin Skin Test.
Applicants accepted for employment will be required
to complete job orientation and to file with the Accounting Office, State
and Federal Tax Withholding Forms.
