Friends Of The Family
What
are friends for? To be close by with help when you need it. That's why we
want you to consider Lancashire Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center an
extension of your family to help you as care-givers for your elderly loved
ones, a mission we take very seriously. And we're right here in the area you
call "home."
You Want The Very Best
Lancashire
Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center provides the highest degree of gerontological
care for your elderly loved ones. To do this, our staff includes Registered
Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to offer around-the-clock medical attention.
This makes us unique for those who need constant care and medical attention,
so that you'll know your elderly loved ones are in good - and responsible
- hands.
For more than 35 years, we've answered a need in our community for quality care for the elderly. It is in this tradition that we now offer Skilled Care among our many services.
Skilled Care
Skilled Care
is for those released from the hospital who need a higher level of nursing
care or medical attention on a 24-hour basis which, in most cases, cannot
be administered at home.
Skilled Care can also provide intensive physical, occupational and speech therapy, among other rehabilitative services.
Medicare May Help Pay
Fortunately for Skilled Care
patients who meet the medical criteria, Medicare or other insurance carriers
may provide payment for up to 100 days per benefit period.
The Choice Of The Medical Community
For
our high quality standards, physicians throughout the area frequently recommend
us for the excellence and professionalism of our services. Talking to your
physician will make your decision easier. Remember that we want you to consider
us friends of your family. It's a privilege we take seriously.
Out Of The Hospital. but What Next? Rehabilitative
Care
Rehabilitation is for those patients released
from the hospital who still need the care of professionals before they're
back on their feet again.
Because we believe that there is such a great need for this new service in our community, we've dedicated an entire section of our building to this expanded service.
The entire room is equipped especially for rehabilitative therapy by a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist. Among the services we offer is therapy for the following:
• Hip Fractures
• Stroke Rehab
• Neuromuscular Disorders
• Joint Replacements
• Orthopedic Disorders
• Orthotic (braces) & Prosthetic
Training
Our goal is to return our patients to their highest possible functional levels.
