As Always, We're Meeting The Needs Of Our Community.
You already know us as the first choice for excellence in our care for the elderly. In a community such as ours, we're proud to be thought of as friends of your family. And what are friends for? To be close by with help when you need it.
Because we're locally owned and operated, we take our mission seriously because we're right here in the area you call "home."
We've always taken pride in meeting your needs. For our high quality standards, physicians throughout the area frequently recommend us for the excellence and professionalism of our services.
Out Of The Hospital. But What Next? Rehabilitative Care
Due to your response, we are placing a stronger emphasis on Skilled Care, a designation in the medical community for long or short term care for those patients who join us directly from the hospital and who still need a higher level of nursing, rehabilitation therapy and medical care on a 24 -hour basis.
Because we believe that there is such a great need for this new service in our community, we've dedicated an entire section of our building to this expanded service: The Page Rehabilitation Wing.
The entire room is equipped especially for rehabilitative therapy by a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist. Among the services we offer is therapy for the following:
• Hip Fractures
• Stroke Rehab
• Neuromuscular Disorders
• Joint Replacements
• Orthopedic Disorders
• Orthotic (braces) & Prosthetic Training
Our goal is to return our patients to their highest possible functional levels.
And The Good News Is...Medicare May Help Pay
For those patients who meet the medical requirements, Medicare or other insurance carriers may provide up to 100 days of Skilled Care per benefit period.
We're Here To Help You.
We're very excited about our new Page Rehabilitation Wing and expanded Skilled Care programs because we feel they will be of great benefit to you. For more information about these services and whether Medicare can help, please contact our Walter Reed Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center Administrator, Doug Vaughan, at (804) 693-6503.
